Burren Chernobyl Project
The Burren Chernobyl Project, based at the Brothers' Monastery in Ennistymon, helps child victims of the fallout from the Chernobyl reactor explosion. Many projects have been carried out to assist the children and their families who are enduring the effects of exposure to radiation and the other social and economic problems facing them in Belarus.

Adult Immersion Programme

Recruiting adults to join international immersion programmes. This year's programmes are in Zambia and Kenya. The programmes are organised and presented by Christian Brothers and Presentation Sisters (Zambia) and offer deeply personal and challenging experiences to the participants.

Developing World Immersion Programme
Aimed at exposing 6th Form students to the realities of diverse cultures through Immersion placements in Sierra Leone. The project involves the recruitment and preparation of small groups, accompanied by staff, to allow them to experience schools, projects and communities in the Developing World.
